Facebook LIVE vs Periscope
Facebook first and foremost advantage is that Facebook LIVE is included right inside the Facebook app, which means everyone already has it on their phone, while with Periscope you'll have to go through the ordeal of downloading and learning a new app.
On Periscope the video lasts for 24h and then it disappears, on Facebook it will remain on your timeline forever. In this way, Periscope is much more similar to a Snapchat story.
On both platforms, when you go LIVE, your followers or friends get a notification. For now, Facebook LIVE is available to all profiles on iOS devices and verified companies. Periscope is available to anyone with an account on the platform.
